Pine Needle Pick Up
Our pine needle pick-up schedule, vendor and process have changed. Here’s what you need to know:
- Vendor: G&I Sanitation
- Pick-up Day: Thursdays (Deadline for scheduling is on Tuesday morning at 8am)
- Process: Due to various factors like increased demand, inflation, gas prices, and staffing challenges, finding a vendor for this service was tough. To keep the service running and costs manageable, we’re implementing a new system. We’ll now alternate between four zones for pick-up. However, there are exceptions when all areas will be serviced: the first and last 2 dates, May 2nd and 9th and October 3rd and 10th.
Zones:
Zone 1: June – 1st Thursday of the Month, July & August – 2nd Thursday, Sept – 1st Thursday (actual dates in drop down)
Includes: Highlands, Hatcher, South Shore & Martinez
Zone 2: June – 2nd Thursday of the Month, July & August – 3rd Thursday, Sept 2nd Thursday of the month (actual dates in drop down)
Includes Twincreek and Lake Forest
Zone 3: May: 4th Thursday, June – 3rd Thursday of the Month, July & August – 4th Thursday, Sept – 3rd Thursday of the month (actual dates in drop down) Includes: Lake Pagosa Park, Pagosa In the Pine 1 & 2, Central Core, South Village Lake, North Village Lake, Ranch Communities, Mallard Point & Lakeview Estates.
Zone 4: May – 5th Thursday, June 4th Thursday, NO JULY, August –1st and 5th Thursdays, Sept- 4th Thursday (actual dates in drop down)
Includes: Eaton, Lakewood Village, Vista, Trails, Chris Mountain, Village Commercial, Meadows 2, 3 & 4.
