PLPOA 2025 Candidates Forum

The Candidates Forum will be held this evening and is open to all property owners, both in person and online via Zoom. Due to space limitations in the Vista Conference Room, in-person attendance is capped at about 30 people. To ensure everyone has access, the forum will also be available on Zoom and will be recorded and posted on our website for those unable to attend live.

Forum Format:

• Questions for the candidates were submitted in advance to allow the Moderator time to prepare.
• A total of 15 questions will be asked.
• Each candidate will have 2 minutes to respond to each question, with the order of responses rotated.
• Online attendees will be able to listen only; chat, hand-raising, and other forms of interaction will be disabled.
• In-person attendees will follow the same rules. However, after all questions have been asked (or at 8:00 p.m., whichever comes first), the Moderator will announce an opportunity for property owners to speak with candidates one-on-one at their leisure.

Board Meeting Times & Format – The Board of Directors will meet the 2^nd Thursday of every month in the Conference Room of the Administration Building at 230 Port Avenue. The Board will begin their meetings at 6:00 p.m. This meeting will serve as a work session and regular general meeting. The Board will meet in Executive Session before every meeting at 5:30 p.m. The purpose is to review owner violations as per the new House Bill 22-1137. The Board may from time to time call for a special work session meeting which will be open to owners and announced in advance.
